We used to do a lot of salmon fishing and loved to smoke fish over the weekend to save in the freezer. This was one of our favorites - especially using apple chips for a great flavor. Ingredients:
2 lbs salmon fillets |
10 garlic cloves, minced |
3 tablespoons butter |
4 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 teaspoon sage |
1 teaspoon oregano |
Directions:
1. Prepare smoker for a 4-hour smoke. 2. Wash salmon and place in a large smoker safe pan. 3. Cover with all other ingredients and place in smoker for 4 hours. 4. Remove and serve. |
