Smoked Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes |

These are a wonder tasting. I have also use many type of cheese for this so just try anything and let me know what you think. Ingredients:
3 large potatoes, medium-thin sliced |
1/2 cup smoked cheddar cheese, grated |
2 tablespoons onions, minced |
1 1/2 teaspoons flour |
2 1/2 cups milk |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. 2. Blanch potato slices in boiling water for 5 minutes. 3. Drain and rinse with cold water. 4. Spray a two-quart casserole with oil. 5. Make a layer of 1/2 of the potatoes. 6. Top with the cheese, onion, and flour. 7. Top with the rest of the potatoes. 8. Season. 9. Slightly heat the milk and pour over the casserole. 10. Cover and bake for 50 minutes. 11. Uncover and bake for 20 minutes longer (or until lightly brown). 12. Serve warm. |
