Smashed Garlic and Dill Potatoes |

Ramp up the flavor of regular mashed potatoes by using red potatoes with dill, cream cheese, and spices. Ingredients:
2 1/2 pounds red potatoes |
4 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter, softened |
1 1/2 teaspoons spice islands® dried dill weed |
1 teaspoon spice islands® sea salt |
1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves |
1/2 teaspoon spice islands® garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon spice islands® white pepper, ground |
Directions:
1. Cut potatoes into 2-inch chunks and place in a large saucepan filled with water. Cover pan and bring to a boil. Cook 20 to 25 minutes until potatoes are soft. 2. Drain potatoes and add remaining ingredients. Smash potatoes until well blended. Serve immediately. |
