Simple simple simple chocolate cake. It's super moist! Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour |
2 cups granulated sugar |
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 large eggs |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 cup canola oil |
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 cup boiling water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees - yes 300 (slowbake) 2. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan 3. Easy part - put all ingredients in a big mixing bowl, and beat with a hand mixer on med until well blended and smooth. 4. Pour into baking pan. 5. Bake for 1 hour at, yes... 300 degrees. 6. Test center to see if done. 7. Allow to cool and frost with your favorite frosting. |
