Beef in au jus cooked all day in the crock pot. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
14 oz beef broth |
4 lbs beef chuck, boneless cubes |
2 large onions, sliced |
3 tablespoons corn starch |
1 clove garlic, crushed |
1/2 tsp salt |
12 oz dark beer |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/2 tsp thyme |
Directions:
1. In skillet heat oil over med high heat. In bowl comvine beef flour, salt, pepper. Toss. Add beef to skillet in 2 batches, cooking 5 min each. Transfer beef to bowl. Add broth to now empty skillet to loosen bits. Boil one min. In slow cooker, add onions, garlic, beer, thyme. Top with beef and broth. DO NOT STIR. Cook on low 8 hours. Serve over eggs noodles. |
