You are not going to believe how wonderful these tomatoes taste.
Ingredients:
4 whole plum tomatoes
1 pinch salt and fresh pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 270 degrees F
2. Slice the tomatoes lengthwise and place them on a parchment paper covered cookie sheet, seed side up.
3. Sprinkle the tomatoes with a couple pinches of salt and some fresh
4. cracked black pepper and then drizzle them lightly with olive oil.
5. On the middle shelf in the oven, bake the tomatoes for 4 hous.
6. Enjoy them by themselves or on some nice toasted artisan bread with mozzarella
