Slow It Down Mediterranean Stew

Hearty, healthy, vegan flavour straight from the shores of the Mediterranean sea.
Ingredients:
1 butternut squash, cubed
2 cups cubed eggplant, with peel
2 cups cubed zucchini
1 (10 ounce) package frozen okra, thawed
1 cup tomato sauce (home-made or store-bought)
2 cups chopped onion
2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
3 carrots, sliced
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1/3 cup raisins
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons oregano
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir well.
2. Cover, and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours, or until vegetables are tender.
