Ingredients:
6 strip(s) bacon, cooked and crumbled (garnish) |
2 carrots, diced |
3 stalk(s) celery, sliced |
5 cup(s) chicken stock |
2 teaspoon(s) dried dill |
2 cup(s) fresh mushrooms, sliced |
1 onion, diced |
1/3 cup(s) parmasean cheese (garnish) |
3 red peppers, diced |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 pound(s) sauerkraut |
1 pound(s) smithfield smoke sausage, sliced |
1 can(s) tomatoes, diced |
Directions:
1. Stir together all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 10-12 hours or on high setting for 5-6 hours. To serve, garnish with crumbled bacon and Parmesan cheese and serve with crusty bread. |
