Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes

Cheap, easy, and it will take you back to your childhood. What could be better than that?
Ingredients:
1lb lean ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 large red bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1 large rib celery, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (6oz) can tomato paste
2t cider vinegar, or more as needed
2t firmly packed brown sugar, light or dark
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1tsp worcestershire sauce
dash of hot sauce
small pinch cayenne
hamburger buns for serving
Directions:
1. In a large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef with the onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic.
2. When the meat is cooked through, transfer the contents of the skillet to the slow cooker/
3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6 or 7 hours.
5. Taste and add more vinegar or brown sugar, if desired.
