Someone brought this to my baby shower when I was 8 months pregnant and it satisfied a craving I couldn't put my finger on throughout my entire pregnancy so this recipe has always held a special place in my heart :) It's a flavorful and very easy recipe tyathat's Ingredients:
1 16 oz bottle of russian dressing (can be hard to find so catalina can be substituted, but the end result will have a less rich taste) |
1 envelope dry onion soup mix |
1 10 oz. jar apricot jam/preserves |
chicken pieces |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine First three ingredients in a bowl 2. Season Chicken with salt and pepper and place in the bottom of slow cooker 3. Pour mixture over Chicken 4. Cook on Low for 6-8 Hours (or on High for 3-4 hours) 5. This recipe can also be made in the oven, follow steps exactly except place chicken in a casserole dish and bake at 350 for one hour 6. Serve over rice |
