This recipe is easy to prepare and very good on a cold and rainy day or snowy day. I make it on those days that are dreary and sad. It brightens up my day. Ingredients:
6 med potatoes, diced |
3 carrots, sliced |
3 ribs celery, chopped |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
6 cups water |
4 chicken bouilon cupes, or 1 tab of granules,or equivalent chicken base |
1 tea parsly flakes |
2/3 cup evaporated milk |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. In slow cooker, combine potatoes, carrots, celery, onion and water.chicken bouilon or base, and parsley flakes. 2. Cook 4 to 6 hours on high or 8 to 10 hours on low. 3. 30 to 40 minutes before soup is done (20 mins if cooking on high add evaporated milk and butter. 4. Enjoy with French Bread |
