Quick to prepare, delicious flavors! This is a family pleaser! This can also be cooked on high for 4 to 6 hours. Ingredients:
1 1/4 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves |
1/3 cup lime juice |
2 cups chicken broth |
1 clove garlic, minced |
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 cups uncooked instant rice |
Directions:
1. Place the chicken breasts into a slow cooker; pour in the lime juice and chicken stock. Add the garlic, thyme, pepper, and butter. 2. Cover, and cook on Low until the chicken is very tender, 8 to 10. Stir in the rice during the last 15 minutes of cooking time. |
