This is a great recipe for lamb chops that are tender and tasty with a little bit of a bite from the spices. Easy to convert to your own tastes. Good using other cuts of lamb as well. You can easily cook 1 or 2 chops rather than 4. Great with rice. Ingredients:
4 lamb chops |
1/2 cup water |
1 bay leaf |
1 tablespoon dried red pepper |
1/4 teaspoon sage |
2 cups rice (optional) |
Directions:
1. Pour water into a slow cooker. Add all spices and mix well. Add the Lamb Chops. Cook all day on Low temperature or 4 hours on high temperature. 2. If you are going to cook rice to eat with thhis recipe use the juice from the slow cooker in your rice water or pour over rice after. Juice also makes a great gravy. |
