A great way to make lamb! Ingredients:
1 lb lean boneless lamb |
1 tablespoon cooking oil |
2 medium turnips, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch pieces |
3 medium carrots, cut into 1/2 inch pieces |
2 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces |
2 medium onions, cut into wedges |
1/4 cup quick-cooking tapioca |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon thyme |
3 cups beef broth |
Directions:
1. Cut the lamb into bite size cubes and brown it in the oil in a large skillet. Drain off the fat. 2. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker/crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours. |
