Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless |
salt & pepper |
1 cup(s) honey |
1/2 cup(s) soy sauce |
1/2 cup(s) onion, diced |
1/4 cup(s) ketchup |
2 tablespoon(s) veg oil |
2 clove(s) garlic, minced |
4 teaspoon(s) cornstarch |
6 tablespoon(s) water |
Directions:
1. season both sides of chicken with salt & pepper - put in crock pot 2. in a small bowl, combine honey, soy, onion, ketchup, oil, garlic - pour over chicken 3. cook on low for 3 - 4 hours or on high for 1.5 - 2 hours or until chicken is cooked through 4. remove chicken from crock pot, leave sauce - dissolve 4 teaspoons of cornstarch in 6 tablespoons of water and pour into crock pot - stir to combine with sauce - replace lid and cook sauce on high for 10 more minutes or until thickened 5. cut chicken into bite-size pieces, then return to pot and toss with sauce before serving - serve over rice or noodles 6. Directions for Freezing 7. season chicken with salt and pepper and put into a gallon-sized bag 8. combine honey, soy, onion, ketchup, oil, garlic and pour over chicken in bag 9. put in freezer - pull out and allow to thaw overnight then follow the cooking directions above |
