Crockpot meal Ingredients:
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal |
1 cup beef broth |
1 lb. extra lean ground beef |
1 tsp. chili powder |
14 ounce salsa |
16 ounce whole kernel corn |
1/4 cup ripe olives |
2 oz shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, mix cornmeal and broth; let stand 5 minutes. 2. Stir in beef, chili powder, salsa, corn, and olives. 3. Pour into a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 5-7 hours or until set. 4. Sprinkle cheese over top; cover and cook another 5 minutes or until cheese melts. 5. Serve with onions and salsa. |
