A slight variation of the Campbell's Chili. Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
10 3/4 ounce campbell's® condensed tomato soup (healthy request) |
14 1/2 ounce diced tomatoes |
1/2 cup water |
30 oz kidney beans, cooked, rinsed and drained |
1/4 cup chili powder |
2 teaspoons ground cumin |
Directions:
1. Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often. Pour off any fat. 2. Stir the beef, onion, garlic, soup, pepper, tomatoes, water, beans, chili powder and cumin in a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker. 3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours.**Or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours. 4. Serving Suggestion: Serve with slices of cornbread or tortillas |
