This is the only chili I make for my family. The recipe came with my slow cooker. It's not spicy, just very flavorful. We top it with cheese. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1 1/2 cups onions, chopped |
1 cup green pepper, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced (i use the jarred) |
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained |
2 (16 ounce) cans kidney beans, undrained |
2 teaspoons salt |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon cumin |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, drain. 2. Add to slow cooker. 3. Add rest of ingredients. 4. Stir to combine. 5. Cook on low for 8 hours. 6. Top each serving with cheese, if desired. |
