This is a combination of many recipes that has evolved over the years. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 onion, chopped |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 garlic clove, chopped |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (12 ounce) can chopped tomatoes, drained |
1 (12 ounce) can light kidney beans |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon dry oregano |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef in a nonstick skillet and add to slow cooker. Dump in remaining ingredients and cook on high 4-5 hours. |
