Slow Cooker Chicken Stock |

This is a very easy way to make chicken stock. Ingredients:
chicken pieces from 2 chickens |
3 stalks of celery, with leaves, cut in large pieces |
3 carrots, cut in large pieces |
1 onion, cut in large pieces |
fresh parsley |
1/2 tsp rubbed sage |
2 bay leaves |
6 c water |
1 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper |
Directions:
1. combine all in crockpot 2. cook on low 8 hours 3. place a large bowl in sink 4. place a strainer in the bowl 5. pour contents of slow cooker into strainer 6. discard contents in strainer 7. cover and refrigerate overnight 8. skim fat off top |
