Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings |

A great Chicken and Dumplin recipe that you can make a forget. Ready just in time for dinner. Add other vegetables as you like. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
2 medium potatoes |
1 cup sliced baby carrots |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 teaspoon crushed thyme leaves |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
1 cup baking mix |
1/3 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Cut Chicken and Potatoes into 1in pieces. 2. Place Chicken, Potatoes, and Carrots in at least a 4qt slow cooker. 3. Mix the soup, water, thyme leaves, and black pepper together in a small bowl. Pour the soup mix over the chicken and veggies. 4. Cover and cook on Low for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked throughly. 5. Mix together the all purpose baking mix and the milk. 6. Drop the batter onto the soup by the spoonful. 7. Replace the cover and tilt to vent, cook on High for 30 minutes or until dumplings are cooked throughly. |
