Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

A friend shared this recipe with me, and it's always a hit. Sometimes I have trouble finding cream of onion soup, but cream of mushroom works almost as well. I use a liner for the slow cooker to make clean-up easier.
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat
1 cup chopped onion
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of onion soup
1 (6 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
8 ounces sour cream
6 cups hot cooked noodles
Directions:
1. Combine first 6 ingredients in the slow cooker crock.
2. Cook on low setting 6-8 hours.
3. Stir in cream cheese and sour cream.
4. Cover & cook about 1/2 hour or until cheese is melted. Stir well.
5. Serve over hot noodles.
