Mmmm . . . BBQ . . . Pork . . . Sandwiches. Can it get any better? Oh yes, make it in a crockpot so you don't have to work at all. Ingredients:
3 lbs boneless pork roast |
1 cup chopped celery |
1 cup chopped onion |
1 cup ketchup |
1 cup barbecue sauce |
1 cup water |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Place roast in slow cooker. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over roast. 3. Cover and cook on high for 6-7 hours. 4. Shred the meat and mix it with the sauce (Note - You may want to thicken the sauce some). 5. Great for making sandwiches or using in other recipes. The sauce is good on rice too. |
