My sister-in-law gave me this recipe. It doesn't get much simpler than this. Great to serve for a large gathering because there is no fuss getting it ready. Ingredients:
1# - 3# boneless pork ribs |
salt and pepper, to taste |
1 (12 oz.) can cola |
your favorite bbq sauce |
hamburger buns, or your favorite sandwich buns |
Directions:
1. Cut the pork ribs into pieces, using the pre-cut slices as a guide. Place in a slow cooker and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour can of cola in the slow cooker, cover and cook for 6 - 8 hours on low. 2. Remove meat and allow to cool enough to handle. Shred the meat apart into bite-sized pieces. Discard cola from the slow cooker and return meat. Cover with BBQ sauce to your desired taste. Some people like the meat dryer, others dripping with BBQ sauce. 3. Heat through and serve on your favorite sandwich buns. |
