This is great to cook and have after a long day of gardening..or to prepare when you know you don't have a lot of time to prepare a meal before little league.. Ingredients:
4 lbs chuck roast |
2 stalks celery, chopped |
1 g pepper, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
1 1/2 cups water |
14 ounces ketchup |
3 tablespoons vinegar |
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce |
1 tablespoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Cut roast in 4 sections. 2. Place in slow cooker, add celery, green pepper, onion and mix together ketchup, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, and water in a mixing bowl. 3. Pour over beef mixture. 4. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or until meat is tender. 5. Shred to serve on hoagie rolls. |
