Slow Cooker Banana Foster |

A great delicious dessert. Ingredients:
12 bananas, quartered |
1 cup flaked coconut |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup dark corn syrup |
2/3 cup butter, melted |
2 teaspoons lemon zest, grated |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
2 teaspoons rum |
12 slices cake (pound cake) |
1 quart vanilla ice cream |
Directions:
1. Combine bananas and coconut in slow cooker. 2. Combine cinnamon, salt, corn syrup, butter, lemon zest, lemon juice and rum. Pour over bananas. Cover; cook on Low 1-2 hours. 3. Pour sauce over pound cake and ice cream. |
