6 apples, peeled, cored & cut into quarters (organic) |
1/2 oranges, juice of (organic) or 1/2 lemon, juice of (organic) |
1/8 cup light brown sugar (organic) |
2 teaspoons cinnamon (organic) |
1 teaspoon vanilla (organic) |
1/2 teaspoon ginger, freshly grated (organic) |
Directions:
1. Throw all ingredients into the slow cooker and cook on high for 6 hours. You can adjust cooking time as necessary—you want all of the liquid to evaporate and a thick spread to remain. |
