Throws together cookly for a tasty meal. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 egg |
1 1/2 cups milk |
3/4 cup cornmeal |
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained |
1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained |
1 (1 1/2 ounce) envelope chili seasoning mix |
1 teaspoon seasoning salt |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Directions: 2. In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. In a bowl, combine the egg, milk and cornmeal until smooth. Add corn, tomatoes, olives, chili seasoning, seasoned salt and beef. 3. Transfer to a greased 3-qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours and 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and cook 15 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Yield: 6 servings. |
