This is a fabulous recipe for venison in the crock pot. Also works great with beef. A good time saving meal. Ingredients:
3/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 -2 1/2 lbs boneless round steak |
2 tablespoons oil |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 1/3 cups water |
1 cup celery, sliced |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
3 teaspoons beef bouillon granules |
Directions:
1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, pepper and salt. 2. Cut steak into serving size pieces; dredge in flour mixture. 3. In a skillet brown steak in oil. 4. Transfer to a slow cooker. 5. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over steak. 6. Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours or until the meat is tender. |
