Slow Cooked Beef Stroganoff |

Throw it all in the slow cooker and forget it, the only cooking you have to do is make your egg noodles and saute the mushrooms half an hour before serving this tasty dish. Ingredients:
1 lb beef stew meat, cubed and fat removed |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
1 beef bouillon cube, crumbled |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
0.5 (1 ounce) packet onion soup mix (half a packet) |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup water |
4 ounces cream cheese |
1 tablespoon sour cream |
1/2 lb mushroom, sliced |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. In a slow cooker, combine the meat, garlic, pepper, bullion cube, soup, onion, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce and water. 2. Cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours. 3. Saute mushrooms in a skillet with the butter and add them to the slow cooker 1/2 an hour before serving. 4. Stir in cream cheese and sour cream just before serving. 5. Serve over egg noodles. |
