Slow Cook Style Orange Spice Glazed Carrots |

I came across this recipe in an old cookbook. Ingredients:
1 (32 ounce) package baby carrots |
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar |
1/2 cup orange juice |
3 tablespoons butter |
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/4 cup cold water |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cornstarch and water in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until carrots are crisp tender. 2. Spoon carrots into serving bowl. Remove juices to small saucepan. Heat to a boil. 3. Mix cornstarch and water in small bowl until blended. Stir into saucepan. Boil 1 minute or until thickened, stirring constantly. Spoon over carrots. |
