Something a little different for chicken wings. Ingredients:
5 pounds frozen chicken wings |
10 oz. soy sauce |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
2 tablespoons molasses or honey |
1/8 teaspoon (or to taste) |
cayenne pepper |
5 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped |
1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped |
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine all ingredients (except the chicken of course) 2. In a disposable aluminum 10x12 inch pan (or a regular pan lined with foil), pour blended mixture over the still frozen wings 3. Place on center rack and bake at 250 degrees for 2-21/2 hours, turning and basting every 40 minutes 4. When wings are done, they will be tender 5. Remove from sauce and serve immediately, or keep warm in a crockpot |
