Long time favorite by family, and a few friends over the years Ingredients:
1/2 cup molasses syrup |
4 eggs |
4 thick slices of buttered toast (preferably a good bakery bread!) |
Directions:
1. Pour mollasses into a skillet and bring to a boil. Gently drop eggs into the pan, one at a time, and turn heat down to a simmer. Cook the eggs, basting with the syrup until the eggs are firm. Lift eggs onto toast, and pour remaining syrup over the top and serve. 2. TIPS 3. make sure to use two bowl to check eggs, make sure no rotten one in the bunch before adding to food) |
