An easy not messy way for kids to eat sloppy joes in a matter of minutes. The basic idea was taken from pillsbury. Ingredients:
1/2 lb lean ground beef |
1/4 cup barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1 (8 ounce) can dinner rolls |
1 egg, beaten |
1 teaspoon sesame seeds |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375°F 2. In a skillet, cook beef thoroughly; drain. Stir in barbecue sauce; cook 1 to 2 minutes. 3. Stir in cheese. 4. Unroll dinner rolls; separate into 4 8x4-inch rectangles; 5. Cut each in half crosswise, making 8 squares. 6. Place about 2 tablespoons beef mixture on to each square. 7. Fold dough over filling, forming triangles; press edges with fork to seal. 8. With knife, cut small slits in tops. 9. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. 10. Brush with egg; sprinkle with sesame seed. 11. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. 12. Serve warm. |
