This is a simple alternative (and a lot less salt) than the traditional Manwich recipe. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground chuck |
1 onion |
1/2 green pepper, finely chopped |
1 (15 ounce) can low salt tomato sauce |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1 garlic clove |
1 tablespoon steak sauce (a-1) |
hot sauce (i use texas pete) |
Directions:
1. Brown garlic, pepper, and onion. Add ground chuck and brown. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 20-25 minutes. 2. Serve on buns or roll in tortilla. |
