A quick and easy meal.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef (90/10 mixture)
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon mccormick's smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. In a large heavy skillet (over medium-high heat) cook beef with onion and green pepper; breaking up meat as it cooks.
2. Drain off fat.
3. Add the remaining ingredients (except cheese).
4. Heat for approximately 10 minutes; stirring occasionally.
5. Spoon into warm hamburger buns; topped with shredded cheese (if desired).
