A Betty Crocker recipe - easy to tweak to a families liking. Also a great way to get kids to eat their veggies!! Ingredients:
4 cups rotini pasta, uncooked |
2 lbs lean ground beef |
4 cups frozen corn |
2 cups water |
2 small zucchini, sliced (about 2 cups) |
2 (15 1/2 ounce) jars sloppy joe sandwich sauce (extra thick and chunky kind) |
cheese (optional) |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. 2. While pasta is cooking, brown the ground beef and drain. Stir in pasta and remaining ingredients. 3. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to medium. Cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until zucchini is crisp-tender. 4. Serving suggestions - top with cheese! |
