Two classic kid favorites, sloppy joes and macaroni and cheese. Each serving is 2 cups each. I found this in Kraft Food & Family magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
7 1/4 ounces kraft macaroni & cheese dinner mix |
2 cups water |
1/2 cup kraft original barbecue sauce or 1/2 cup bulls eye original barbecue sauce |
1 cup tomato sauce |
2 cups shredded lettuce |
2 tomatoes, chopped |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Drain. 2. Add macaroni, water and barbecue sauce. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium; cover. Simmer 8 minutes, stirring twice. 3. Stir in Cheese Sauce Mix and tomato sauce; cook until heated through. Sprinkle with lettuce and tomatoes. Serve immediately. |
