I found this at Tops Market courtesy of The Beef Checkoff. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 large onion, chopped |
28 -32 ounces sloppy joe sandwich sauce (2-14 1/2 or 16oz cans) |
3 cups rotini pasta |
1/2 cup water |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. Brown ground beef with onion in large nonstick skillet over medium heat 8-10 minutes or until beef is not pink. Pour off drippings. 2. Stir in Sloppy Joe sauce, pasta and water. Transfer to greased 13x9 -inch baking dish. Bake, covered, in 350 oven 35-40 minutes or until pasta is tender. Top with cheese. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes. |
