Like a sloppy Joe, but with American bison meat cooked in a skillet just like old granddad used to make! Ingredients:
1 lb ground buffalo |
1 1/2 cups chopped onions |
1 1/2 cups chopped celery |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 (8 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 1/2 teaspoons barbecue sauce |
6 toasted buns |
Directions:
1. Brown meat in small amount of hot fat. Add onion and celery; do not brown. 2. Add remaining ingredients. 3. Cover; simmer 30 minutes. 4. Serve on toasted buns. |
