Great variation on Buffalo wings and Sloppy Joes Ingredients:
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil |
2 pounds ground chicken |
1 carrot, peeled and chopped |
2 stalks celery, chopped |
1 onion, yellow |
3 garlic cloves, grated |
1 pinch salt |
1 pinch pepper |
2 tbsp red wine vinegar |
2 tbsp brown sugar |
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup hot sauce |
1 cup tomato sauce |
1 cup chicken stock |
12 rolls, hamburger |
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet with extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat. Add meat and break it up with a wooden spoon, cook 5-6 minutes. Add in carrots, celery, onions and garlic. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, cook 7-8 miinutes more. 2. In a bowl combine the vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire, hot sauce, tomato sauce and stock. 3. Pour into the pan and stir to combine. 4. Simmer a few minutes more. 5. Pile sloppy Buffalo filling onto buns. Enjoy |
