I have this smoothie every day . It is easy to make and tastes good. It is also filling. The ingredients are easy to come by all year round and quite economical too.
Ingredients:
1 apple, cored
1/2 frozen banana
3/4 cup low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup frozen apple juice (i buy a bottle of apple juice and freeze 1/2 cup measures in little snap lock bags)
sugar substitute, to taste (i use splenda)
1 tablespoon lsa (linseeds, sunflower and almonds mix)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. put roughly chopped apple, banana and yoghurt in blender. Whizz till fruit are well chopped. Add rest of ingreients and blend until smooth.
