From a 1968 Better Homes & Garden cookbook. Kind of adds a little accent to a meal. Ingredients:
1 (1 ounce) envelope jello sugar-free lemon gelatin |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1/2 cup shredded carrot |
1 tablespoon chopped green onion |
Directions:
1. Combine gelatin and dash dalt; add 2 cups boiling water and vinegar; stir till gelatin dissolves. 2. Chill till partially set; fold in carrot and onion. 3. Pour into 4 individual molds. 4. Chill until firm. 5. Unmold on greens. |
