A quickie to make for dinner. Ingredients:
4 medium tomatoes, sliced |
1 medium red onion, sliced |
3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped |
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Arrange the tomato and onion slices so they are overlapping on a platter. 2. Sprinkle with the basil. 3. Drizzle with the vinegar, then the oil. 4. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 5. Serve at once. |
