This is an easy way to fix a standard veggie while heading off in a totally different taste direction. This is great with roasted chicken, salmon, or other savory dishes. Ingredients:
1 lb green beans, french |
3 tb butter |
1 tsp dried chamomile, home-grown or from tea bags |
1/2 tsp onion granules or powder |
Directions:
1. Steam the green beans for six minutes. 2. While the beans are steaming, put the butter in a bowl and sprinkle the herbs on top. 3. Nuke the butter in a microwave for about 20 seconds, till completely melted. 4. Mix butter and herbs and set aside to meld. 5. Place cooked beans in bowl, drizzle with butter/herbs. |
