This recipe uses Skippy peanut butter in a crumble; old recipe, probably from a jar of Skippy peanut butter. Ingredients:
6 apples |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons peanut butter |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup flour |
Directions:
1. Peel and slice apples; arrange in a greased 10 x 6 pan. 2. Sprinkle lemon juice over apples. 3. Sprinkle sugar over apples. 4. Cut peanut butter and butter into salt and flour with 2 knives until crumbly. 5. Spread on top of apples. 6. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for about 50 minutes. |
