This came from Better Homes And Garden Cookbook. This is easy and simple to make. Just a guess on prep time. Ingredients:
an easy all-in-one spaghetti supper |
1 pound ground beef |
1 6-punce can tomato paste |
1 1-pint 2-ounce can tomato juice |
3 cups water |
1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed |
2 tablespoons instant minced onion |
1 7-ounce package uncooked spaghetti |
1 teaspoon parsley |
Directions:
1. In large skillet, break up ground beef. Add remaining ingredients except spaghetti. 2. Cover and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Add spaghetti; stir to separate strands. 4. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes longer or till spaghetti is tender.Stir frequently. Serve with Parmesan Cheese. Serves 4 to 6. 5. ===================================================== 6. This takes a while to make but well worth the wait. The parsley is my addition to the recipe. |
