This spaghetti is extra good because the noodles are cooked in the sauce and soak up extra flavor. Ingredients:
28 ounce pasta sauce |
12 ounce spaghetti noodles |
1 1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese |
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. In 12 skillet combine sauce & water; stir to combine. Bring to a boil over med-high heat. 2. Add spaghetti noodles and stir well, making sure the noodles are under the sauce (completely covered in it)-if necessary, add 1/4 c. more water. Bring to a boil again, cover, reduce heat to low & simmer 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently. 3. Top with cheese and serve immediately. (If adding meatballs, put them in when spaghetti is half cooked) Serves 4 |
