This is a quick and easy meal that my whole family loves. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes |
1 cup water |
5 ounces uncooked spaghetti, broken in thirds |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
salt and pepper, if needed |
parmesan cheese, for topping |
Directions:
1. In a large pot, cook ground beef until it is no longer pink and drain. 2. Add the remaining ingredients, add salt and pepper if desired (I don't add it but if hubby makes this he adds pepper), except parmesan cheese. 3. Bring the mixture to a boil. 4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. 5. Top with parmesan cheese if desired. |
