Another recipe from a church cookbook. Those women can really cook! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 onion, chopped |
8 ounces spaghetti noodles |
28 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained |
1/2 green pepper, chopped |
1/2 cup water |
8 ounces mushrooms, drained |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Stir in uncooked spaghetti noodles. (Broke in half.) Add next 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil. 2. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover until melted. |
